Aluminium Profile

According to EN 573-3 Standard, the alloy for the production of the aluminium profiles for ALUNOVUM systems is AlMgSi 0,7 F25. The technical and mechanical characteristics of the specific alloy according to EN 755-2 are:

Powder Coating

Our Jumbo-Coat system is a manual powder coating system that uses an eco-friendly process to coat workpieces with a solvent-free plastic coating. This system is ideal for coating small and large individual parts, small and medium-sized batches, and special color requests. We can customize our system modules to meet various customer needs and provide a tailored coating system. In addition to a wide range of RAL and special metallic colors, ALUNOVUM can also offer a wood effect and Anodizing its products.

Polyamide​

ALUNOVUM, for the creation of thermal insulated frames, utilizes various types of fiber glass reinforced polyamide that exclude the heat transmission and insulate the inside part of the frame from the outside. The fiber glass inside the reinforced polyamide, at 25 concentrations, constitutes its framework and its being spread towards every possible direction (not only one direction), ensuring the maximum resistance to severe exhaustions that the frame goes through. Additionally, a PVC profile placed between the frames’ tracks prevents the transfer of heat through radiation.

Frame: from 146mm to 233, sash: 66mm.

Frame Conjunction

The Sashes’ conjunction is achieved through the use of three extruded joint corners that totally immobilize the sash, making it capable to sustain the specified weight of 150kg.

Alignment corner: made of Inox 304 antimagnetic material that contributes in eliminating the profiles’ corrosion.

Mechanism

The mechanism of GU is used for ALUNOVUM 1400 multi lock slide system and stand up to the maximum load of 300kg per sash. This mechanism first lifts and then slides the sash on the inox rod. Alternatively, there is the possibility of placing an electric mechanism.

Gaskets

Special gaskets, which are manufactured using as raw material ONLY EPDM, achieve the proper air and water tightness of the system. EPDM is a special caoutchouc with an ethylene-propylene-diene not combined for resistance at the most extreme external conditions.

Tightness

The water tightness of the sashes is achieved through the use of pioneering EPDM gasket in contrast to the classic systems that still accept brushes.

Glazing

The glazing being used is double thermo-sound-insulated. The suggested glazing from ALUNOVUM is one with glass board 26mm (6-16-4).
